Reunions

Note: Those who attended the 2009 Evreux Alumni Reunion voted to discontinue further reunions as a group and to disband the administrative organization that supported those reunions. (See report.) They recommended that those who were interested in further reunions join with the 317th Veterans Group at their reunions. For those who are not aware of that group, it consists of veterans who have belonged to 317th Troop Carrier (or Airlift) Wing or Group and subordinate organizations from World War II to present day. Those who were at Evreux qualify as members, but all Evreux Alumni members are invited to join. To join, obtain a form from their website and include a notation that you are a member of Evreux Alumni.

• Evreux Air Base Reunion: June 20 - 25, 2012, Evreux Air Base, France. Details are on the 317th Vets Group website. Reunion will coincide with a large airshow at the French Air Force Base 105. Plans include a visit to the site of the 1962 C-130 crash to honor those comrades who lost their lives there 50 years ago.



• 2012 317th Veterans Group Reunion: October 11 - 14, 2012; Columbus, Georgia. Reunion will honor our World War II veterans. Reunion marks the 70th Anniversary of the 317th. All troop carrier veterans are invited whether or not they served in the 317th.
