Evreux Alumni Reunion

Approximately 80 of the Evreux Alumni Group gathered in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Pontchartrain Hotel, to renew friendships, retell old "war stories", and exchange shared memories of their assignment at Evreux-Fauville Air Base, France. Scheduled events included a luncheon meeting on Thursday and a dinner on Saturday. Many of the group enjoyed a bus tour of the city with a lunch aboard the steamship Natchez while touring by water. Another highlight for many of those attending was a visit to the D-Day Museum. The local casinos provided financial investment exercises for many and others enjoyed the entertainment in the French Quarter. But for most, the lengthy visits with friends in the comfortable hospitality room was the most exciting event of all.
