By January 28 I will travel back to Strasburg, North Dakota to take up schoolwork. I will stay there perhaps two months and then will probably teach in Washburn, North Dakota. With that, my winter's rest is again a thing of the past. I had intended to rest for four months, but had to drop the resolution and give in to the people of Strasburg.

Everyone who corresponds with me are kindly asked to address any further letters to me as follows: Anton Jochim, Strasburg, N.D.

My old friend John M. Jochim in Fallon, North Dakota will, along with others, certainly wonder about me interrupting my rest, but unfortunately I was persuaded to do so since the people have always wanted me. I get a monthly salary of $100 plus room and board and remuneration for my train ticket.

I convey many greetings to J. Jochim and family. If I feel up to it on my return trip I will visit them so that I can hear my erstwhile pupils play and sing. I hope that they study well.

Bis zum 28. Januar reise ich wegen Schularbeiten wiederum nach Straßburg in Nord-Dakota, wo ich vielleicht zwei Monate bleiben und dann wahrscheinlich auch in Washburn N. D. Unterricht geben werde. Somit wäre es mit meiner Winterruhe wieder vorbei. Ich hatte mir vorgenommen, vier Monate zu ruhen, mußte aber den Entschluß fallen lassen und den Leuten in Straßburg nachgeben.

Alle Personen, die mit mir im Briefwechsel standen, bitte ich, weitere Briefe wie folgt adressiren zu wollen: Anton Jochim, Straßburg, N. D.

Mein alter Freund Johannes M. Jochim in Fallon N. D. und noch andere werden sich gewiß wundern, daß ich meine Ruhe unterbreche, aber ich bin leider dazu gezwungen, da die Leute mich durchaus haben wollen. Ich beziehe ein Monatsgehalt von $100 bei freier Station und Vergütigung der Eisenbahnfahrt.

Uebermittele viele Grüße an Hrn. J. Jochim nebst Frau und Kindern. Sollte ich mich bei der Rückreise recht behaglich fühlen, werde ich sie besuchen, um meine gewesenen Zöglinge spielen und singen zu hören. Will hoffen, daß sie gut studiren.
